The Melin Tregwynt’ Cofion collection is a tribute to the Welsh culture; illustrated here with theĀ  Welsh lady in traditional costume. The design is named for Jemima Nicholas (also known as Jemima fawr or big Jemima) who with a group of ladies dressed in their red flannel petticoats saw off French soldiers that landed in Pembrokeshire in the last land invasion of the British Isles. in 1797. Jemima reportedly captured 12 French soldiers on her own armed only with a pitch fork. She was a formidable lady at 6 foot tall and 19 stone and the local cobbler.

Cushion cover madeĀ  of 100% lambswool double cloth (brethyn)with a pattern repeat of 3 x11.5cm.
The cushions are zipped and made reversible; each side is a different side of the fabric, so you can choose which one to display. Luxury feather plump inner pad.
